Heather Knight is Global President for Baxter’s multi-billion-dollar global business units of Medication Delivery, Acute Therapies and Clinical Nutrition.  She is also responsible for all commercial efforts across the U.S., Lain America & Canada.  She and her team are responsible for all portfolio decisions across business units in addition to enterprise-wide commercial efforts including enterprise accounts and commercial excellence functions.

Heather previously served as President of Sofradim, VP/GM for the fast growing Colorectal, Hernia & Gynecologic Health global businesses within MTG at Medtronic, where she was responsible for all portfolio, strategy and growth initiatives that support the global business.  Heather has nearly 30 years of Medtech industry experience having worked for several businesses within the Tyco Healthcare, Covidien and Medtronic organizations. During her tenure, she held numerous roles of increasing enterprise responsibilities in both regional and global leadership. Her leadership track record includes business turnarounds, cultivating high growth businesses, driving market leadership and delivering numerous years of market beating growth. During her tenure at Medtronic, she has also executed, led and integrated numerous successful acquisitions.

Currently, she serves as the Executive Sponsor for the Baxter Black Alliance employee business resource group and previously served as co-chair of the Medtronic Women’s Network Executive Committee. She is a 2021 Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) Luminary and a founding member of Chief, Chicago. Heather has served on a variety of hospital, leadership and non-profit boards. She serves on the Board of Directors of Technovation in addition to her work as an Independent Director of the Board for publicly traded Titan Medical (TMDI), a Canadian based surgical robotics company.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from State University of New York and completed the Executive Sales Strategy and Management program from the University of Chicago Booth School of Management. She is presently enrolled in the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Executive Program.
