Shirley L. Paddock, RPh, MBA is currently the Vice President of Portfolio and Project Management at Liquidia Technologies.  Prior to joining Liquidia, she held roles of increasing responsibility in drug development over a 28-year career at Eli Lilly and Company.  While at Lilly, Shirley spent four years leading the operations for Lilly Chorus, a full-service, autonomous R&D unit within the company that specializes in Lean to Proof of Concept clinical development, focused on developing internal drug candidates in the oncology, autoimmune, cardiovascular, diabetes and migraine space. During her tenure in Lilly Chorus, Shirley was also instrumental in the integration and management oversight of several drug development partnerships with venture capital groups, as part of an external funding model.

Shirley has previously served on the Purdue Alumni Board of Directors, various Board Leadership roles in non-profits focused on education and is currently a Board member of the Purdue University College of Pharmacy Dean’s Advisory Council.

Shirley earned her degree in Pharmacy from Purdue University and her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. In addition to college football and basketball, Shirley enjoys reading, travelling, wine education and outdoor activities.
